Dr. Messaros brings extensive expertise in water resources, hydraulic, coastal and civil engineering. His career includes serving as Senior Research Project Manager at Rutgers University, Director of Engineering at Princeton Hydro, LLC, and nearly two decades with the US Army Corps of Engineers. His project experience spans coastal hydraulics modeling, flood control structure design, wetland mitigation, riverine engineering, stormwater management, and ecosystem restoration, including the Green Brook Flood Control project's Levee Safety Evaluation Report and the hydraulic sections of its LOMR submission to FEMA for levee accreditation. An adjunct professor at New York University and Stevens Institute of Technology, he also publishes and presents on wetlands, coastal restoration, and floodplain management.
